Introduction to Fusion 360 CAD & CAM Training Class

This two day introductory class is focused on the basics of using Fusion 360 in the machine shop, including CAD and CAM.   No prior experience is required.

Curriculum:

  • Modeling
    • Sketching
    • Constraints
    • Bodies & Components
    • Sketching Tips & Tricks
    • Demo’s: knife blade, speed vise handle
  • CAM
    • Setup’s & Work Coordinate Systems
    • Creating Tools in the Tool Library
    • Core operations: Face, 2D Adaptive, 2D Contour
    • Introduction to 3D tools
    • Demonstration with CAM Samples
  • Fixturing
    • Fixturing and workholding basics
    • How to model soft jaws

Class runs from 9AM until 5PM with a break for lunch from 12-1PM

Refund Policy:
Cancellation 31 Days or More in advance of class:  100% Refund
Cancellation within 30 days: 50% Refund
Cancellation within 10 days or No Show:  No refund, but we will offer 50% discount on one future class of equal or lesser valuere class

Students are responsible for travel and accommodations to Zanesville, OH.  Closest airport CMH (Columbus) is about an hour away.
